nomadic sushi hospitality at its finest
My name is Aaron and I'm currently a Sushi Chef at Niju, Mayfair.I first met my cofounder Luigi at a youth club in South London. 7 years later, we're taking the top tier hospitality we've learnt into homes who want to mark their most memorable moments, with Japanese food.Whether it's a corporate event, big life moment or a low-key get together with mates, we can make it happen.

We want to use Japanese cuisine as a way to bring people together, built into a casual dining concept.Growing up in London, you’re surrounded by one of the most diverse mixes of cultures in the world. But despite this diversity, you'll notice how people of all backgrounds, even generations, have grown to love Japanese culture, especially anime. Often a quick Naruto reference and you've got a new best mate xD! In a society where you might not dare lock eyes with someone on the tube, this is special and it made us wonder whether Japanese food could do the same.As the city gets gentrified, there’s a real need for spaces that feel open and shared. Not another traditional pub that serves your usual burger and chips, but maybe something different— accessible, unique and special. A place that works for a quick bite as much as a nice evening out, and feels as much challenging as it does rewarding to have spent your time there. This is what we are working towards, putting everyday Japanese cuisine at the centre. Our journey so far has been nomadic, hosting sushi pop-ups across London. Now we’re on the final stretch home to find a more permanent space, somewhere in South London.
